Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

About Our P&C (Parents and Citizens’ Association)

The Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a vital part of our school community. It provides a platform for parents, carers, and citizens to come together, share ideas, and support the needs and aspirations of the school.

What We Do

• Promote collaboration: We bring parents, citizens, students, and teaching staff into close cooperation to strengthen our school community.
• Provide resources: The P&C assists in funding and providing equipment and resources needed by the school.
• Support school policy: We work alongside teaching staff in the development of school policies and activities that benefit all students.
• Advocate for students: Our focus is on the welfare and educational experience of every child enrolled at CWPS.

Membership is open to all members of the school community—parents, teachers, and citizens.

• Harmony Day Funfair
• Kindergarten Welcome Night
• Second-Hand Uniform Sales
• Easter Art Competition
• Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Stalls
• Raffle Fundraising Draws
• Teacher Appreciation Lunch

These events not only raise funds but also foster community spirit and engagement.

Our Partnership

The P&C works in collaborative partnership with the school and staff to:

• Offer support and assistance for student welfare.
• Promote the school positively within the community.
• Contribute ideas and resources that enhance learning and school life.

We are also supported by the P&C Federation, the peak body that provides advice, resources, and guidance to member associations.
